My favorite way to eat brown rice is with hot tomato sauce. Try this and thanks me later!
Tomato sauce recipe:
– 1 teaspoon garlic paste or 3 cloves of chopped garlic
– 1/2 hot red chili sliced (or less, depending how hot you like your food)
– 1 tablespoon e.v. olive oil
– 2 large tablespoons of tomato paste
– 200 ml of water (or more, to disolve the tomato paste)
– 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
– 1 tablespoon lime juice
– 1 tablespoon white wine
– 1 tablespoon red wine (optional)
– himalayan pink salt (to taste)
– fresh ground pepper (to taste)
– 1 large teaspoon sweet smoked paprika
– some love (to taste; not optional)
a) In a non-stick pan, add olive oil, garlic, chili, 3-4 tablespoons of water. Saute about 2 minutes.
b) Add the tomato paste. Add water to disolve the paste.
c) Let it bubble about 1 minute. Stir.
d) Add the vinegar, the lime juice, the white and red wine. Stir.
e) Let it bubble about 1 minute. Stir.
f) Add spices: salt, pepper, smoker paprika. Stir.
g) Let it bubble about 1 minute. Stir.
h) Add some love and turn off the gas.
i) In a bowl, mix the boiled brown rice with the desired quantity of this sauce.
j) Serve with your favorite protein (tuna, grilled chicken breast, etc) and vegetables.

Thank you so much for those videos.
Let me tell you this. I’ve been all over Youtube trying to find cool meals so I can start a diet (and not die) and the only thing I found was bunch of boring avocado and sweet potatos, no color, just green; Don’t get me wrong I love those thing, but after a while I just wanted to go back to my old and very sweet chocolate cake. And here are you to save my life with a lot of cool meals and ideas. Never boring. ^^ Thank you.

BTW, I am so doing the coconut curry but I will try the others too.

I like to do brown rice Korean style (bibimbap) with veggies (bean sprouts, carrots, zucchini, broccoli) that are sauteed with sesame oil, garlic, and soy sauce. Top with gochujang (Korean red pepper paste, sorta like ketchup), sunny side up egg, green onion and sesame seeds. Pan fried tofu goes great with this too!
