★RECIPES
★Carrot Cake Oats
1 cup rolled oats
1 carrot shredded
2 cups water
2 tbsp maple syrup
3 walnut halves (chopped)
1/2 cup plant milk (I use soy)
1/2 tsp vanilla
dash of salt

Calories – 524 / Macros – 90g Carbs / 17g Protein – 12g Fat

In a large saucepan add your water, oats carrot, vanilla and salt and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer, cover and cook about 5 minutes or until the oats have absorbed all the water. Place in a bowl and top with walnuts, maple syrup and plant milk.

For snacks, i always reccomend eating simple snacks like fruit or raw veggies with hummus. Fruit and veggies are very hydrating and full of nutrients but they are also not overly stimulating. Snacking on crackers or toast/nuts etc can make you want to snack out of boredom. Fruits are best, if you are truly hungry between meals reach for a banana or apple 🙂

Why do you keep using your really old before picture to show the weight-loss difference? It would be more helpful to see a recent photo. I think I remember you beginning in the 140s before you lost the weight this time around. I know it’s better for the thumbnail cause it’s shocking… but it’s kinda misleading.

    How is this misleading? It’s her weight loss journey and there is no specific time frame for this. The before is where she used to be before implementing a healthier way of eating and the after is how far she has come. I mean, what more can you ask for? These pictures are honest pictures whether you think they are displayed in the right order or not. Ugh…

    Tessa girl chill.. I think they meant to tell is that show the present weight loss journey, not when she already has accomplished. Like there is one youtuber liezl jayne, she eats meat but she also shows her loss of 10lbs which she gained recently.. so I guess they mean the present weight loss.. makes sense? 😬😅

    christina scaduto I quit Keto to eat low carb too. I’m not vegan but eat about 80% plant based. I’m uploading some What I Eat videos to my channel soon, showing what I eat. The main thing is meal prepping and never going hungry.

I’ve recently started cooking my oats in a rice cooker and I am loving the texture it gives them. I will definitely be trying the carrot cake oats that way. Today, I threw grated zucchini in before cooking them and you couldn’t really even tell it was there.

Hannah always says that she lets the IP steam release naturally. I have a different type pressure cooker and when it is done it goes “on hold” but maintains the pressure until I release it manually. Does anyone know if you can let it release on a Farberware pressure cooker?
